Le cocktail est inventé aux États-Unis au XIXe siècle, mais c'est la Prohibition (1919-1933) qui le fait entrer dans le salon. Les bars de maison naissent à cette période pour servir entre amis ce que la loi interdit en public.
L'Art déco invente alors une typologie nouvelle : le cabinet bar, meuble fermé qui dissimule bouteilles, verres et accessoires. La Maison T.T.Trunks reprend cette tradition pour un cabinet contemporain : architecture verticale, bouteilles rétroéclairées, coffret d'accessoires en partie basse.
The cocktail was invented in the United States in the nineteenth century, but it was Prohibition (1919-1933) that brought it into the salon. Home bars came into being in this period to serve among friends what the law forbade in public.
Art Deco then invented a new typology: the cabinet bar, a closed piece of furniture that conceals bottles, glasses and accessories. The Maison T.T.Trunks takes up this tradition for a contemporary cabinet: vertical architecture, backlit bottles, accessory case in the lower part.

Chaque bouteille est rétroéclairée. Un coffret d'accessoires occupe la partie basse, accompagné de trois tiroirs dédiés aux accessoires de cocktail et aux livres de recettes. Les cuirs standard de la Maison permettent la personnalisation.

Each bottle is backlit from within. An accessory case sits in the lower part, alongside three drawers for cocktail tools and recipe books. The Maison's standard leather selection allows for customisation.
